Losing Mum and Dad to Covid

It is with a heavy heart that I write about the devastating loss of my parents to Covid-19.

My mum and dad were both strong, vibrant individuals who always put family first.

When they fell ill with the virus, I never imagined that it would lead to their untimely deaths.

Watching them deteriorate in the hospital was a painful experience that I will never forget.

Despite the heroic efforts of the medical staff, the virus proved to be too relentless.

The loss of my parents has left a void in my heart that I fear will never be filled.

I am grateful for the time I had with them and the memories we shared, but the pain of their absence is overwhelming.

As I navigate this new reality without them, I am reminded of the importance of cherishing every moment with loved ones.

My parents will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will honor their memory by living a life that would make them proud.

Rest in peace, Mum and Dad. You will be forever missed and loved.
